Honesty, integrity and professionalism are not just words to George, but the manner in which he has performed residential real estate services for over 29 years.
After graduation with a BS in mathematics in 1970, George became a permanent resident of Denver in 1971 and after 9 years in the construction field, decided on real estate as a career that has the independence, variety and opportunities that are only offered in a true entrepreneurial industry such as real estate.
Whether performing listing duties, or acting as an exclusive buyer's agent, George has completed over 1,450 sales during his career, an effort that rewarded him in being named to the President's Club every year since receiving his real estate license.
George has received over 250 hours of workshop/tutorial programs to better understand and perform his tasks as an expert Relocation Counselor. Relocating over 200 families in his career has allowed George to be regularly referred to by agents and relocation companies throughout the country to handle both their incoming and outbound transferees.
In the 1980’s, Denver was reliant on the oil industry for a great majority of jobs and when the oil “bust” hit, jobs were lost and a glut of foreclosures swept through the Denver area. George was trained in the processes of assisting banks and lenders to dispose of their properties. Most recently, George received his Certified Short Sale Professional (CSP) designation to better assist Seller’s in this currently troubled marketplace of over encumbered properties. Additionally, George has been awarded the designation of Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). George is now best prepared to assist in and understand negotiations for his Buyer's and Seller's when they present or are presented an offer to purchase.
From time to time George has performed the tasks as a Managing Broker and in the mid-1990’s, he was selected to develop a Guaranteed Sales Program. He produced and published the Guaranteed Sales Manual and trained over 50 agents on how to properly execute the complex combined listing and buying of a property simultaneously, usually performed to assist a homebuilder in reducing his inventory of completed homes.
Because of George's construction experience, new homes have been a natural for him to sell, and in some years, have accounted for 65% of his closed transactions. Homebuilders appreciate his knowledge of construction techniques and their processes so much that George has served on numerous Builder/Realtor focus panels. These panels are made up of qualified Realtors who are encouraged to render their input and suggestions to the Builder before he begins a new project or series of homes.
Today, George enjoys what he has always loved, assisting families in selling and buying homes, continuing to “move Denver…one yard at a time.”
